What bank account documents can I attach as part of my grants validation?

You may be required to supply several kinds of documents as part of the validation process. These documents must be clear visuals that include the following information: 

  1. Bank Statement (dated within last 6 months)
  2. Deposit slip
  3. Cheque
  4. Letter from the bank (this may be requested in some cases)

What an acceptable bank visual needs to show

  1. Bank name in the form of logo
  2. Full account name (not an account ‘nickname’, and not the mailing address)
  3. BSB
  4. Account number
  5. If dated, the document must be issued within the last 6 months
  6. We do not need to see anything confidential (e.g. account balances or transactions), these may be blanked out
  7. In some cases, a letter from the bank may be requested. This will need be on the bank's letterhead, dated and signed by an employee at the bank
