What is Volunteer Matching?

To submit a Volunteering Matching request online, your organisation needs to have the online Volunteering Matching module enabled.  If you don’t see the Volunteering Matching Tab, speak to your CSR Manager to see if this feature can be enabled for your organisation.

Your volunteering activities can now be matched by your organisation through the Workplace Giving Platform as a monetary donation.  Your organisation will match your individual or team volunteering activities subject to any matching caps applicable to your organisation.

You can submit a request for volunteering to be matched at any time and you will receive a notification by email advising the outcome of your submission.

Before you apply you will need:

  • The Volunteer Matching Module enabled by your employer.
  • An evidence file confirming that you have completed your volunteering.  The file should confirm the charity name, time period when you volunteered, and the number of hours that you volunteered.  Image file formats supported include:  .doc, .docx, .jpg, .jpeg, .png or .pdf.
  • Sufficient Matching allowance remaining.  You can check your remaining matching allowance on the Volunteer Matching Tab.
